Salmon Butte Valentines Day

What an awesome thing to be overnight camping in February. Almost zero snow at 4,900 feet, hiking in t-shirt temps. It got cold and windy during the night, and a layer of high cirrocumulus clouds thwarted my plans of taking star photos. I did manage to get a few ok photos on the trip I think.

Good times with good friends.

Humans gathered on a hill. I wonder what they are doing

Here are the humans gathering again

Oh look, a new guy

What is she doing with him?

The Warm Springs people knew this beautiful volcano as Khla-tee-wap-thee.

Here is the mountain hottie again

Morning glow with a crescent moon and the first flights of the day overhead.

Rime encrusted campsite. I think that orange loaf thing is a giant breakfast burrito

Someone (not us) dropped a giant deuce under that rock, center left. Not classy, Mr (or Mrs) Poo Hiker...

Loo-wit, Tahoma, and Pahto.

I believe this is actually supposed to be on top

Sweet bridge graffiti

Great texture and color
